All Saints Central Schools Announces New President

BAY CITY –All Saints Central Schools would like to announce middle/high school Principal Brian Campbell as the district’s new President. In a planned succession move by the Board of Trustees, Campbell will begin his additional duties beginning July 1. Dr. Kimberly Prime, current President, will remain at All Saints Central to assist with the transition until June 30.

As President/Principal, Campbell will continue to collaborate with school staff, parents, board members, parishes, alumni and community. Retiring President Prime says, “I have absolute faith Brian is an excellent fit for the future of All Saints Central Schools. He is an ASC graduate, he taught at ASC for 8 years, and became principal in 2013. His commitment to ASC runs true.” Board President, Patrick Van Sumeren echoes Prime’s comments indicating, “Brian’s experience and strong faith make him the right person to lead All Saints Central as we move forward in our mission of forming disciples in Christ.”

Campbell earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from University of Michigan and a Master of Education from Saginaw Valley State University. During his 13 years as a professional with All Saints Central Schools, Campbell touched on every facet of school administration including human resources, financial planning and budgeting, program design, scheduling and curriculum, building and grounds, capital improvements, marketing, recruiting, professional development, and student support services. Campbell says, “I am excited to continue moving All Saints Central forward in this capacity. I will continue to stress academic excellence, in a Christ-centric environment, at all grade levels. I wish to thank the Board for this opportunity. This community is home to me, and I consider it a privilege to serve at All Saints Central Schools.”

Campbell and his wife Dana live in Essexville and have two young sons.
